PreFlight Home Inspections is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Kyle Winn, based in Washington Township, Michigan, serving Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. This policy covers information collected through preflightinspect.com.
When you submit the contact form on this site, you provide your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, the property address, and any details you choose to include. That information is transmitted by FormSubmit and delivered to my business email. Nothing you enter into that form is stored in a database on this website.
If you book through the online scheduler, that booking is handled by Spectora, my inspection software provider, under their own privacy policy.
This site uses Google Analytics to measure how visitors find and use the site — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and whether the contact form and scheduler are working. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this; you can block them with your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not sell or share your information with data brokers or marketing lists.
Your information is used to respond to your request, schedule and perform the inspection, deliver your report, and follow up about your inspection. If you become a client, your contact information and inspection records are retained as ordinary business records.
Information is shared only with the service providers needed to do the work — the form delivery service, the inspection reporting platform, and, where you request them, the radon or sewer scope services performed as part of your inspection. If you are referred to me by a real estate agent, I discuss your inspection with that agent only with your consent. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Your inspection report is prepared for you as the client. It is not distributed to other parties without your permission, with the exception of anyone you specifically ask me to send it to.
You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask that it be deleted, subject to any records I am required to keep. Call 586-522-8733 or email inspections@preflightinspect.com.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
